Linda Ellis

Linda Ellis is a Co-Founder of xpat2xpat, a company that focuses on the families of international assignees and provides transitional assistance through cross-cultural training and destination services.

Growing up as a Third Culture Child of German immigrant parents in Canada, spending 10 years in the United States with her young family and currently living in Shanghai with teenagers, Linda has a wide range of experiences to draw on in her quest to support accompanying spouses and their families during international corporate assignments.

Linda is a professional trainer and facilitator in the corporate world. She is a certified trainer for a number of programs including: Crossing Cultures with Competence from the Interchange Institute, Job Instruction from Training within Industry and many Continuous Improvement workshops through TimeWise Management and the Lean Enterprise Institute. She has developed and taught Lean Manufacturing certificate programs through Community Colleges in the US, and has attained Lean Bronze Certification by the Association of Manufacturing Excellence.

Linda also spent over ten years in a variety of Senior Sales, Marketing & Continuous Improvement Management roles at international companies and holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Waterloo, Honours Applied Studies Economics. She speaks German and is currently learning Mandarin at an intermediate level.
